An Apology for Recent Social Media Comments

On behalf of the Tropical Sun family, we wholeheartedly apologise for the recent comments made on our Instagram account. Their content and tone were totally unacceptable and do not reflect our attitude, ethos or approach to our consumers and the communities we serve. 

 

As a team and a family, the matter is being dealt with internally, but most importantly we recognize the upset the comments caused. 

 

Our brand has a voice through our people and on this occasion, mistakes were made.

 

We make no excuses and offer our sincere apologies.

 

We have a valued and longstanding relationship with Jamaica and its people and have worked with our Jamaican-owned partner factory and their team in Central Village for nearly three decades, supporting numerous schools, charities and non-profits, investing in the education and health of the communities we are part of.
