Jerk Chicken Skewers

A Jamaican classic!

Serves: 4-6 | Prep: 30 mins + overnight refrigeration | Origin: Jamaica

Jerk Chicken Skewers_Tropical Sun



  • Combine the jerk seasoning powder, jerk seasoning paste, honey, all purpose seasoning, vegetable oil, lime zest and juice in a mixing bowl and whisk vigorously until the marinade has thickened
  • Baste half the mixture over the chicken and marinade in the fridge overnight
  • Skewer the chicken, leaving a centimetre in between pieces
  • Grill, barbecue or roast in an oven at Gas Mark 5/ 190℃/ Fan 170℃, basting with the remainder of the marinade for approximately 15 mins or until the meat juices run clear
  • Serve and enjoy!
