  1. In a saucepan on medium heat, simmer the onions, spring onions, garlic paste, scotch bonnet pepper, creamed coconut, salt and pepper for 3 minutes
  2. Add in the red kidney beans and gently stir into the mixture, simmering for 2 minutes
  3. Add in the water and bring to a boil
  4. Add in the rice then reduce the heat to medium-low and cover
  5. After 15 minutes, check to see if the rice is cooked. If needed, add more water
  6. Serve and enjoy!
