If you're a fan of US style root beer, try our new and improved recipe. It's non-alcoholic and great for that classic root beer flavour.

The original “root beer” was sold as a syrup for consumers to water down into a type of cordial. It was both sweet and bitter, probably not unlike cough syrup today! The “root” in the name came from its main ingredient, the sassafras root and the "beer" came about as someone changed the original name "tea" to "beer" to make it sound more appealing, even though there's no beer in it.

We can't accurately describe our root beer, so hoping you'll write in and let us know how best to describe it to those that haven't tried it as yet!

Rootbeer

As ive said before tropical sun rootbeer is amazing,

I went to search up the company a week before christmas as i was intrigued about what they do,

And i found they had their own shop front on their website,

I got a bit carried away and seen they had the rootbeer in a 24 can pack and i went and ordered it,

It came a few days ago, I've almost gotten through that 24 pack myself, In my defence it's delicious,

Maybe next time though i will venture back on to the online shop and see what else i can try out,

And also 5 stars is underrated id rather give it an extra 5 stars bringing it to 10 instead.

Best Root Beer Ever!!

This root beer is amazing,

I tried the A&W root beer and it was horrible it tasted more like mouthwash,

But this one from tropical sun omg it's refreshing, Yes theirs still the minty taste but it's not over powering,
Theirs also a sweetness to it that just adds to it's perfection,
I'll be buying these from now on,

I'm highly recommending these for anyone who's looking for a good root beer, Go for this.

Absolutely delicious!

I think that is arguably the best root beer! I used to enjoy the carters root beer thar is no longer made and this tastes just like it (if not better!) Great chilled or as a mixer!

Great Drink

The Root Beer is great the only issue was the delivery, which was split in to two and one tray was delayed.
