Where do Tropical Sun's products come from?

Our motto is ‘Flavours of the World!’ – and we do our best to live up this.

Our products come from sunshine regions worldwide, including Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Latin America, the Middle East and the USA.

Due to strong interest from the Jamaican community, many of our Jamaican products feature a ‘Made in Jamaica’ badge.

Are Tropical Sun products suitable for vegetarians and/ or vegans?

We have hundreds of products that are suitable for vegetarians and vegans. Most of these products will feature one of the badges below on the back of pack.

 

Are Tropical Sun products gluten-free?

The vast majority of our products are gluten-free, but we do sell many that contain gluten. Look out for the below gluten-free badge on the back of pack, and always check the ingredient list if you have any concerns.

Are Tropical Sun products suitable for a halal diet?

Many of our products are suitable for a halal diet, but very few are halal-certified.

Products that are halal-suitable may carry the Halal logo on the pack. If you’re ever unsure, feel free to contact us for confirmation.

Are Tropical Sun products suitable for a kosher diet?

Our products are not kosher-certified, however we do offer a wide range of vegetarian and vegan products that are considered acceptable by many non-orthodox Jewish consumers.

Some items, such as seasonings, don’t legally require nutritional data. For anything else, our team is happy to help via our contact form.

Delivery FAQ

Delivery

Orders are sent via Royal Mail’s Tracked 48 service. They should generally be delivered within 5 working days of the order being placed. Customers who provide their contact details as part of the order will receive delivery updates via text and/ or email.

Some orders may be split into multiple shipments.

Returns 

You may return items to us within 14 calendar days of purchase.

To be eligible for a refund, goods must be returned in a satisfactory condition — unopened, unused, undamaged and in their original packaging.

To initiate a return, reply to your order confirmation email and we will provide you with a returns link and authorisation code. Simply fill in the details in the link and dispatch your return to us. 

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will issue a refund for the full cost of the product, minus the original delivery fee and a £5 return-to-sender fee.

Please note that refunds can take up to 7 days to be processed.

Defective or Damaged Goods

If your order arrives damaged or defective, please reply to your order confirmation email and include:

- The product details (name and size/ weight)

- A brief description of the issue

- Clear photos showing the defect or damage

Once we review the information, we will advise on the next steps. This will usually be either:

- A replacement item

- A refund (full or partial, depending on the situation)

Please note: if you purchased a Tropical Sun product from a retailer other than the Tropical Sun Foods website (for example, a supermarket or high-street store), you will need to return the item directly to that retailer with your proof of purchase.
