Mustard Seeds

Widely used in Asian countries to produce condiments and mustard oil, brown mustard seeds have a sharp heaty flavour making them ideal for many savoury dishes. Sauté in a little oil and use brown mustard seeds as a garnish for meat, fish or vegetables, to add flavour to pickles and chutneys or in boiled rice for a flavoursome side dish.
