I have been a huge fan of Root Beer since a wonderful holiday in the States when I was a boy. Sitting on a Jetty fishing and a new friend offered me a can .....I was hooked! Now every time I drink this I am transported back to that wonderful moment. I am happy to say this Root Beer takes me back to that Jetty ....... Magical!
Having tried the previous Tropical Sun root beer, I can tell the recipe that comes with the new can design is a big improvement. The sweetener aftertaste is gone, to the point I'm debating if the new recipe even contains any sweeteners! Regardless of which, it is absolutely fantastic. Finally we have a great tasting, locally produced, affordable root beer in the UK! My partner and I are both very happy, since root beer is our favourite drink. We bought a 24-pack to celebrate. Please keep making it, now that the recipe has been perfected!
Finally we get cheap root beer in the UK, after growing up with an american father a eating and drinking all the different delectable delights from the US the one thing I craved most was root beer and real Cheetos! And finally we have both!!!!! By far the best tasting UK made root beer on the market there litterally is no comparison and I will say it’s super close in the race between it and another well known US brand. But thank you “tropical sun” juuuuuust pplllleeeeeeease don’t stop making it!!!!!!!!!
The older (pre caffeine free) root beer is the only fizzy drink I consume. I don't know what I'm going to do now as the new one tastes horrible.
I first saw this drink of root beer in Sainsbury's two years ago now. I notice the can design is different. I find it taste a lot better than before.
