Tropical Sound is proud to have hosted Councillor Samuel Koffie-Williams, Mayor of Swale, Kent at our London offices, alongside the owners of two of Kent’s most successful independent grocers, Mr & Mrs Owolabi of DeMart Global Food Store, and Mr Asadulah Nasseri of London Cash & Carry.
Longstanding Tropical Sun customers, DeMart Global and London Cash & Carry are two exemplary family business, built from the ground-up through hard work, dedication and service to the community. Paying tribute to these businesses and others like them, Mayor Koffie-Williams, who is himself an educator in Accounting, Business Economics, Enterprise and Finance at a local college, spoke about the flourishing multi-racial communities of Kent, and the opportunities that this presents to the local businesses and their trading partners.
Also in attendance was the multi-talented musician and media personality Shoggy Tosh, winner of a 2018 Gospel Xplosion Award.
